So, Nas has a new song out call "Daughters" which by now most of you have heard. Leave it to Nas to spit some ill lyrics that fits right in our times. Meaning, many men in our generation neglects to realize that every woman was once a girl and is some one's daughter. I know this argument seems one sided, but truly it isn't, I am merely shading some light on a particular subject. I'm glad Nas took the time out to speak on his treatment of women and the vision he painted for his daughter. Most men don't realize that their actions too has a significant effect on their children, and especially their little girls. You are the one who will define for her what a man is suppose to be. How a man is suppose to treat a woman, and what kind of men she will eventually draw to. So while many pay attention to the woman being a lady... i.e respectable, clean, educated, and poised, it is the fathers who need to make an example, be respectful, and guide their daughter.
