Everyone falls in love there are no straight lines. And
sometimes you fall in love with an unexpected person. Is it love or
infatuation? How strong is our minds? Is it strong enough to grow two strangers
into lovers, to make you wonder the future together, to make you want each
other everyday… but for how long?
Then you realize that no straight line comes back into play.
Two people are all dandy as long as each others’ full life doesn’t surface.
I mean he’s handsome and great in bed, has all the attributes
you ever wanted, just a dream come through as long as you don’t inquire his
personal life, ties, responsibilities, problems, and relationship status.
And she’s perfect, sexy, amazing, kind, giving, and an achiever
just like you the perfect woman to stand behind you as long as you don’t ask,
her status, afflictions, level of estrogen, sensitivity, jealousy, and how many
children at what age.
Life is so complex once you reach the point of getting to
know each other after getting to “know” each other. At this point your
infatuation either deflates or grows into acceptance and love. It is at that
point that you consider all the pros and cons and decide good idea….bad idea.
These are the things that will keep us up at nights, make
you a little depressed, swim around your mind at work, that never-ending
pursuit of companionship and love.
So I guess I’m wondering after you ride the merry-go-round
once or twice do you stay on knowing that it will only keep going around the
same circle?
